Jennifer has the brightest smile. She will often tell you how wonderful life is, which is quite refreshing considering its much easier to deprecate than to agree on all the wonderfulness the world brings. After all, our brains are programmed to detect negative information faster than positive. The brain also learns very fast, so make sure to teach it to “sustain the signal to amplify a neural circuit” by helping it remember your great experiences (30 seconds to happiness at bottom of page).
Jennifer has trained her brain to be positive, and for this reason, it’s great to be around her. However the reason I like her the most, is because she is a super networker. She regularly and professionally exercise all the 7 skills of a highly successful networker. Many might say that these skills are also the 7 skills of a highly successful person. Decide for yourself. I’ve included the skills below, and don’t forget that if you are looking to work with someone who has all these skills, make sure to contact Jennifer Kanthan at Own Don’t Rent.

30 seconds to a happier brain by Leslie Timmins:
- Step one: bring your awareness to the positive experience as it’s happening.
- Step two: replace thoughts such as “this is okay” with “this is really great” to amplify the experience so the brain can learn.
- Step three: let go of negative thinking.
- Step four: feel the body sensations of the positive experience.
- Step five: continue for 30 seconds.
