Brief Description Of The Organisation and Brand |
|
- Our client is an events and marketing agency who specialise in events, promotions and public relations.
- They have been going for nearly 4 years (will be 4 years end of October ’12) with a variety of clients in food, beverage, hospitality, tourism, technology, media, film, design, government and non-profit industries.
- Some examples of clients include: Cisco, Sydney Film Festival, Destination NSW, Office of Environment & Heritage, Department of Planning & Infrastructure, Leichhardt Council and others.

The interns required skill set |
|
- basic administration skills and knowledge of programs such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint.
- good organisational skills, good communications skills (written and verbal)
- willingness to learn and be open to doing a variety of tasks.
- Desirable: previous experience with a basic understanding of the events, promotions or PR industries, also a confident and friendly personality.

A list of tasks the intern may assist with |
|
- Administration tasks such as building marketing database, mailouts to various contacts, admin.- Tasks required as needed- Events organisation- Assistance with sourcing venues and liaising with various suppliers for events
- Assistance with research for various elements of a promotions campaign or experiential marketing campaign, these can vary for each campaign. e.g. sourcing info. on street permits, promotional outfits and merchandise
- Public Relations and basic research for public relations opportunities
