This employer’s goal is to coach business owners to improve their business through guidance, support and encouragement. Business coaching helps owners of small and medium sized businesses with their sales, marketing, management, team building and much more. Just like a sporting coach, a Business Coach will make managers focus on the game. Because they have an extensive list of clients, the company has plenty of contacts to explore which interns will be put in touch with.

 

Location:

Some work from residence and occasional meetings with supervisors and clients North of Sydney.

Your Skills and Qualifications:

• Intern would have to be comfortable talking with business owners in order to find out what issues they may be facing, or what goals they have in their business in order to see if business coaching would be something of benefit to them
• Professionalism, self-motivation, administrative and technological skills, enthusiasm and responsibility are a must and great advantage.
• Discretion and ability to maintain client confidentiality and privacy
• High level responsibility and tact
• Strong organizational skills are a must
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Great time management skills and be able to coordinate multiple tasks at any given time

 

Possible Internship Tasks and Responsibilities:

• Lead generation using the telephone; Calling business owners from either a warm list or a cold list to set up an appointment with a business coach to do a business analysis on their business.
• Sales training, which relates not just to telemarketing but to any business to business sales
• Help out with other areas of marketing; Email, web, seminars etc.
• General business training with an opportunity for extra training in any area of business as an incentive if the intern does well at the role
• Three one-day meetings with clients of specific field of choice for specialization.

The intern should expect the majority of the internship to be project-based and also include observation and assistance of the Managers at the Host Company. Interns should also expect some administrative work of a general nature.
